It was wonderful to see the response to the first pre-order a couple of weeks ago, for the Donegal coats and Indulgent Cardigans. The camelhair and dark-grey Donegal coats in particular have almost sold out (we only have a certain amount of cloth ordered) which is wonderful. That window closes on March 31.

Today it’s the turn of the cashmere knits – the wardrobe-staple Cashmere Crewneck, and my personal favourite the Cashmere Rugby. As ever, there are more details than you could ever want on both products on the original launch articles (here and here respectively). Today is just about the ordering details.

As a side note, a nice thing about the way this part of the PS Shop has grown is that it makes offering other products easier. The suede overshirts people ordered last autumn are arriving now, for example, and already some of those recipients have asked for more. The fact the first one went well makes it easier to order again at lower minimums – so we’re going to open the pre-order for the suede again during the next pop-up. It’s a virtuous circle.

The Cashmere Crewneck is available to pre-order in eight different colours (eight!). Four of these are the same that were offered last year, and they remain the same shades. This year we’re introducing black, dark brown, sky blue and natural.

The dark brown and natural are the same shades as have been available previously in the Cashmere Rugby. Black hopefully needs no explanation.

The sky blue is the nicest light blue we’ve seen in these cashmeres – the range hasn’t always been great. And while light blues are never going to be as versatile as navy, I’m pleased that this is one that goes nicely with blue and indigo jeans, and of course summery things like cream. That’s it in the last image above.

All sizes are available from XS to XXXL. Measurements are listed in the table on the order page.
All colours will be available to see in the PS pop-up shop from March 26-29. All sizes available in stock will be there to check sizing; currently that means everything except XL.
The dark navy, mid-grey and black will be in regular stock in the autumn. The other colours are only available for pre-order

Timings and terms/conditions:

Payment can be in full now or half now, half before delivery
Order window is open until April 6th (so shorter than the other products – we need that to get delivery in on time)
Delivery is in late September
Returns and exchanges are not possible, as the pieces are being made just for you (to order) and can’t go back into stock

With the Cashmere Rugby, we’re adding two new colours to the four that have been available historically. Those are cream and black, both pictured above.

The cream is particularly nice with mid-blue denim I’ve found, but it’s nice with blacks too – the colour isn’t stark enough to create any problems. It also feels nice and summery. A great one to have tied around the shoulders.

Black is obvious of course, but I do think I’m going to wear the heck out of it. So nice with navy trousers and with brown.

The previous colours are all available again – navy, grey, dark brown and natural. Those are shown above.
