Brooks Nader says she has “mixed feelings” about where things stand between her and her “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Gleb Savchenko.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model addressed the viral video of her kissing the professional dancer backstage on the set of “DWTS” last week in a new interview. While she admitted there was “nothing fake” about it, she said she’s still “single” at this time.
“Who wouldn’t want to make out with Gleb?” Nader told Extra at Goldie Hawn’s Love-In Gala in Los Angeles last Friday.
Nader, 28, further clarified that they’re strictly a “dance couple for now” and “not in a relationship.”
“I have so many mixed feelings about it. I’m newly single, so we’re having a really nice time,” she said, referring to her recent divorce from her husband of four years, Billy Haire.
While Nader didn’t share any specific details about a potential romantic relationship, she also quipped that “everything” people see online and social media with them is “real.”
“There’s nothing fake about it. I’m not a fake girl,” she stated.
Nader survived two weeks on Season 33 of the dance competition show with Savchenko, 41, thus far, and gushed that she’s “having a really good time” with her “amazing” teacher.
“I’m like a vibe person and Gleb has an amazing vibe,” she explained. “He has great energy and he really wants me to have a great experience with ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ He’s very focused on that.”
She continued, “He’s just an amazing teacher and it’s not a bad gig from me either to spend like six hours a day just sweating and rehearsing with him every day. It’s fantastic.”
Despite the romance rumors swirling about, Nader emphasized that she wants people to take her “seriously” as a dancer.
“I’m working really hard to learn the routines,” she said.
Nader spoke about the dating speculation just one day before paparazzi caught them kissing again – this time while out and about in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The two were seen kissing and holding each other close while out to dinner with a few friends at Wally’s.
“Dancing With the Stars” returns for two back-to-back shows next week, with “Soul Train Night” airing Oct. 7 and “Hair Metal Night” the following evening. Fans can tune in starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
